Erm... so I have had a VERRRRYYY long Blog holiday. Whoops. Ahem. I've had such a busy summer. We had some sad news about a lovely colleague passing away, then it was my brothers wedding and the day after I went on holiday. I came back and found my ma has broken her foot and then back to work.
I'm pretty sure I had 6 weeks off, I just can't remember them as they passed by in a flash.
I hope you've all had a great summer.
Me and the OH went to Parga on the Greek mainland. It was ok, but we wont be going again. It nowhere near compared to Santorini and was just to busy for us. We prefer a gentler pace these days!
I'm back at school, the new class are quite nice. I've managed to do some nice Autumn art with them.
I've got another photography job this week at another school which is really good. Oh! And I've got a new camera. It's much faster than my other, I just don't know how to use it properly yet. I haven't had much chance to get out and use it as it's done nothing but rain :(
I'll post some pics that I did manage to capture soon. In the meantime I'll leave you with Parga Town.
See you soon.... next time it wont be so long, I promise!

I have TOTALLY got Olympic fever! I've always enjoyed the Olympics, but after the opening ceremony I got all riled up and was screaming at Lizzie Armistead in the road race yesterday. She was FAB! I even Wikipedia'd what all the terms meant, I was an expert by the end of it!
And then last night with the swimmers .... me and my mum were hoarse after all the shouting. I bet the neighbours wondered what was going on! Well done Rebbecca Addlington, she seems like a lovely lady, she totally deserved that medal.
To be honest I was a bit nervous about the opening ceremony, Danny Boyle is a little off the wall, it could have been a bit...er.... weird, and it was, but in a fabulous way. I LOVED the Doves on bikes, and the stunning cauldron! Wowzers! Gymnastics and diving today, time to shout again COME ON LEWIS! COME ON TOM! :-D
Here's some stunning photos that I found on Google images... <3
I've also been making things. Finally cracking on with those projects that I've been saving for months.
I saw a lovely necklace on Etsy but it was sooooo expensive so I had a go at making my own. What do you think?
I've also been pottering about with other bits. I love trying new things and it's even better when they work.
Hope you've had a nice weekend. Enjoy the Olympics which ever team you are cheering for. If you happen to walk past a house on a hill and hear someone screaming, it's probably me!
"COME ON TEAM GB!!!!!"

OMG! I disappeared for like...a month! What a busy time it has been. We had that dreaded 'O' word mentioned (those of you who work in schools in the UK will know what I mean!) Anyway we got through it. Then it was the count down to the end of term...leavers assembly, sorting new classes/books, tidying, cleaning, end of year parties....! Phew. It's been exhausting. But we finally broke up yesterday and my Nursery babies will be Reception when we go back and my Year 2 babies have flown the nest to go to Junior school :(
I got some lovely presents and cards from the children but have to say this was my fave...
...hand drawn at school by a little girl who joined us mid year from Montserrat. She was an absolute pleasure. Gosh...it's so nice to know you've had such an effect on someone and that they think you're pretty cool! :)
Well hopefully I'll be able to blog alot more now I'm not working like Wonder Woman. I sat and watched Roman Holiday this morning with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. Normally I would have felt that this wasted to much of my precious weekend but since I'm not in work on Monday....!

Whoooaaaa! Where have I been? haha. It's been a while since my last post, sorry for that, I've been mega busy!
I've been on a trip with the Nursery children from school today. We took them to Smithills Open Farm in Bolton Lancashire. It was fantastic! We were even lucky enough to see a calf being born! I'd recommend the farm to anyone with children under 12, although I'm a grown up and I liked it! Ha. There was one day old piglets, baby goats, reindeer, lots of small animals to hold in pets corner... I was desperate to bring 'Jelly' the 40 day old donkey baby home, he was just beautiful!
I was also lucky enough to see the Olympic Torch pass the bottom of my road on Saturday! It was a great atmosphere. We'll not mention the football. Ahem.
I have been sorting and tidying again, and then buying more stuff to fill the gaps! I think I have notebook issues. In that, I keep buying them and not writing anything in them as I need to think of worthy entries! I have one lovely book that I fill with pictures, quotes, just about anything nice. One book that I fill with ideas for projects. Another with poems and song lyrics. A book of things that made me smile and one with pictures that I've printed from the internet that I love. I bought another at weekend...to use for writing paper...but I quite like it as a notebook, and obviously I need another! I'm just thankful The Boy (my other half) made me put the other 2 that I'd picked up back!

My 'Thank You Teacher' cards are on ebay again! I designed and sold some of these a couple of years back and was amazed at how popular they were! I had some lovely feedback. Hope they do as well this time.
The last feedback I had said ... "Wow! Just perfect. My little boy even recognized it was an imitation of him!" I mean...how cool is THAT?
Buy them here... Thank You Teacher!
