Argh! Project 31 is up and running! The cards are on sale on Etsy. Now fingers crossed that someone likes them enough to buy them. If you know someone who might be interested they can buy the cards here...

Has anyone seen the Face Britain Project that has been projected onto Buckingham Palace this weekend? The class that I work in took part in this project. I feel very proud for them that they are part of history, I mean, how cool is that? I'm putting a scrap book together and a big display at school for the Jubilee and Olympics. I'm not usually patriotic but I feel there are so many negative vibes about this world and this country that our children need to see some positives. The Royal Wedding last year was a turning point for me. How amazing to see all of those people in harmony, celebrating the same thing!

Here's what the palace looks like...somewhere in there are the faces of the 30 quirky little 6 and 7 year olds I spend my days with. :)

The project 31 cards came today! I love them. I really hope other people do too. :-/ It's always nerve wrecking selling your own work. If nobody buys it you take it kind of personally.

Friday again tomorrow. Yey! I work in the school office on a Friday with a good family friend. We usually end up in hysterics at some point. I love laughing...especially on a Friday!

I promised you 2 images for my next post so i'll choose two photos that make me laugh. The smug little face of this sculpture that I found in a Jazz bar in Santorini. I love it! Look at that mush!

....And look at this Prairie Dog! For those of you from the UK that have seen 'Walk on the Wild Side' you will know that he's shouting for his friend "Alan! Alan! Alan! Alan! Alan! Alan!"

Have lots of laughs this Friday friends. There's enough doom and gloom in the world. Make it Friday's mission to find something that makes you giggle and guffaw, chuckle and chortle. Happy Friday!

Ooo.... Project 31 is well on its way! Ok so I'll tell you what it's about...
I've just ordered some photographic postcards. I will be selling them on Etsy, there are 4 category's each with 5 images. Only 31 of each image will be printed, so whoever buys a set will be buying a unique piece of my photography. (Which you can sell for millions if I ever become famous and marry George Clooney! haha) I might be biased, but I'm also super self critical and even I like them so they must be quite good! Each set will be wrapped in a totally unique way. I wont packaged any two the same.

Uses for Project 31 cards: send to friends, frame, stick on the fridge, use as bookmark, collect, birthday/Christmas/'I'm sorry I ran over your dog' present, posh shopping list.... the list goes on.
Project 31 is so called due to the fact I am in my 31st year and I wanted to start a project to mark it.

Anyway I'll post back here as soon as they go on sale! Wish me luck.

Well after a fashion I managed to fit the RAM and so far its had ... no effect whatsoever! Urgh.
I've spent all day clicking away at things for Project 31. I just wanted to give you a sneak peak of one of the images that will be available to buy soon... have a great weekend people!

Shoes...I mean, look at them! :-)

OOo so it's Friday the 13th! Are you superstitious? I'm not...touch wood! haha. I am actually, I get if from my Grandma, she was really superstitious.
Okay so a couple of things to report today. The nice postman has just brought me 2 parcels, not as pretty as yesterday's booty but very much needed. A new battery for my Macbook. (I got a message saying REPLACE NOW OR IT'LL BLOW UP...ok, ok maybe not the blow up bit!) and some new memory for my Mac that I am going to fit myself. Eeek. Question is people, do I do it on Friday the 13th?

The other bit of news, which I'm a bit excited about is I had a slight epiphany last night, well 1am this morning actually. I've come up with a project that will enable people to buy some of my photographs and own a bit unique work. I'll tell you more when I'm nearer starting it, but the project will be called Project 31 and I might post a preview of one of the photographs I will be using later, assuming I haven't destroyed my laptop.

The camera calls I must be off. Mmm...what image can I leave you with today... my photo of a single Magpie to prove I'm not superstitious! (eeeekkkk....Aye, aye captain! Good morning Mr Magpie!)
