Hello! Sorry I've been quiet, it's been a hectic couple of weeks! So here's a catch up...
We had our Jubilee party at school, the weather stayed mainly nice and it was completely wonderful!
The children looked fantastic in their hats and blue, white and red clothes.
The whole Jubilee shebang has made me feel very proud and I have had a tear in my eye more than once whilst watching the footage on television. The Queen has been dignified and captivating on everything I have watched.

The other thing that kept me occupied was a colleagues/friends wedding on Sunday. It was a fun day, but I must admit I'm glad it's over! Weddings aren't really my thing. I took a few piccies and had a good giggle with a friend though.

Me and the Other Half or 'Boy' as I like to call him, have booked a holiday. YIPEEE! We're going to Parga. It's been a very tough decision this year, it was very tempting to go back to Santorini and we were worried how busy Parga might be due to the Greek Festival being held whilst we are there, but we took the plunge and booked some very nice apartments on top of a hill! Uh-oh. I'd love to hear from anyone who has been to Parga. I need a list of things to do and places to go.

We also booked to go and see the 80's band Madness in December. I am SO excited! Did anyone see them on top of the palace at the Jubilee concert? How amazing was that? Here it is for anyone who didn't see it...

I hope you are all well and had lovely street parties! :-)

Monday is done! And it's been a warm one here in the North of England.

Has anyone been watching The Voice UK? I've become quite addicted. Mainly because Danny is pretty and Will. I. Am. is hilarious, but I was most disappointed that David Julien went home this weekend :( I thought he was a phenomenal singer. So my allegiance will now how to lie with Tyler James in Will's team. I've been listening to some of his songs from an album he did some time ago. I love it. This is a great song, good summer vibe!

So Youtube-ing is one of my favourite pass times and this weekend during a major YT sesh I found the most catchy, cute song that I put to one of the teachers at school and we have decided to incorporate it into our leavers assembly at the end of the year! I can't wait to teach the kids the words and guess what..it's Will. I. Am.! :)

Don't you think it's just the most amazing song? LOVE it!

I also found another Will. I. Am. clip (I'm obsessed I know) and I watched this one approximately 30 times because it made me grin 'till my face was sore. I'll leave you with this clip to cheer your Tuesday! Have fun in the sun guys and gals!

Hello peeps! Have you all had a nice weekend and Monday? (boo!)
I went to Ikea this weekend in order to bring order to my life and my office! I LOVE Ikea! I mean...how cheap? And how did I get by in life without all this stuff that I did not know I needed but could not possible live without!?
I bought a Billy bookcase which is now holding the majority of my creative 'stuffs' in boxes, baskets, bags and jars. I also bought a funky little table as I never sit at a desk, always on the floor in front of the radiator - I'm always cold. Of course, I had to buy a new lamp for the table and cushions for the floor, and 3 beautiful old fashioned perfume bottles that are in no way related to the office! Ahem.
I spent waaaayyy more than anticipated! Damit! I shall take pictures of all my Ikea wonders soon and post.

I spent Sunday watching the Grand Prix with the Boy. I am a huge F1 fan. Jenson Button is my man, my Boy cheers for Lewis Hamilton, so as you can imagine we have quite a rivalry going. Anyway it was not a good result for my guy. :( (Boo hiss!)
I've been looking for a new camera. I'm so baffled by everything and the prices....! Eek! I picked my camera up for the first time in ages and set about taking some shots of the Boy. Much to his annoyance...

Cute isn't he?! Have a terrific Tuesday people. I'm in Nursery all day tomorrow with the little ones. I'll have a headache by lunch then....! haha.

Hello peeps! I hope you've had a great weekend, and for those in the UK, a great Bank Holiday.
I've been shopping today with my Ma. Desperately looking for a dress as I have 3 formal occasions this year. It was a bit of a nightmare to be honest.
I did however buy a fine art print from an artist I've not heard before but am now in love with!
His name is Aldo Balding (cool name!) and the print was 'Odyssey VI'. It reminds me of my huge Jack Vettriano print 'Amateur Philosophers'. I adore paintings like this *wistful sigh*

Here's Odyssey VI. Have a look at the rest of Aldo Balding's prints.... I shall be buying more!

Back to work tomorrow...Boo!

Ps... STILL no sales of Project 31! Getting slightly disheartened now :(

A sneaky peek at a corner of The House On The Hill

Can you spot my little pink house? I have 2 more now! :-)

Oh my word! I haven't posted for a week. I've been so busy, I don't know where the time is going.
Me and The Boy (my other half) went to see Jeff Dunham live at the MEN arena on Friday night. I laughed so hard I couldn't see at one point. I kept thinking "Wow! A ventriloquist has sold out an arena!" It was amazing. It may not be for everybody and it's not exactly politically correct but I think that's why it's so funny. It's no holds barred 'lets just laugh at life' comedy.

Here's a little clip for you to giggle at.

We spent Saturday in Skipton which is a lovely little town. We explored the castle, which is surprisingly intact, had lunch and shopped. I especially like the little shopping arcade, Craven Court. There are two shops in there which I could have happily emptied my bank account in! 'Emma's Apothecary' - which has loads of vintage gifts and 'Dandelion' has every single East of India gift you could ever think of. I bought 2 more little pastel coloured wooden houses to add to the pink one I already own. I think I'm going to buy a whole village of them!

I hope you've all had a great weekend!
Ps. Still no Project 31 sales. Bit gutted :(

Argh! Project 31 is up and running! The cards are on sale on Etsy. Now fingers crossed that someone likes them enough to buy them. If you know someone who might be interested they can buy the cards here...

Has anyone seen the Face Britain Project that has been projected onto Buckingham Palace this weekend? The class that I work in took part in this project. I feel very proud for them that they are part of history, I mean, how cool is that? I'm putting a scrap book together and a big display at school for the Jubilee and Olympics. I'm not usually patriotic but I feel there are so many negative vibes about this world and this country that our children need to see some positives. The Royal Wedding last year was a turning point for me. How amazing to see all of those people in harmony, celebrating the same thing!

Here's what the palace looks like...somewhere in there are the faces of the 30 quirky little 6 and 7 year olds I spend my days with. :)
